we hope that this will be the last Christmas without having pictures of the children and kids from Adwa. As you know, the situation of danger, violence, blockade is not yet over in Tigray. There are glimmers of hope, however, founded on signatures to the permanent ceasefire of hostilities and the first small steps toward a return to security.

When we write, it is not yet possible to travel again to Adwa: humanitarian flights to Tigray are still sporadic and with limited number of seats and checked baggage allowed.

Still scarce medicines and food aid enter the region tried by violence, epidemics, hunger.

That is why the help you have not failed to give to the people of Adwa with your long-distance adoption contribution has been crucial in allowing so many children and mothers to survive!!!
